Frequently asked questions.

I’ve never had a massage before. What should I expect?

Congrats on booking your first session. Generally speaking, you will meet your therapist first. They will discuss any areas you are having pain or want them to focus on. Your therapist will instruct you on how to lay on the table under the sheets after you undress. Then they leave the room for a few minutes and return when you are ready to start the session.

How is Sports Massage different?

Sports massage is different because it’s more targeted and goal-focused than a general relaxation massage. It is designed to address muscle tension, mobility, soreness, and recovery related to exercise, sports, or repetitive activity.

A sports massage may include deeper pressure, stretching, focused work on specific muscle groups, and different techniques depending on what your body needs. You do not have to be a competitive athlete to benefit from it—active adults, gym-goers, runners, golfers, pickleball players, and anyone dealing with tight or overworked muscles can benefit.

Do you have both female and male therapists?

Yes, we do. We have male and female therapists available for you. Schedules do fill up quickly. We always suggest booking in advance whenever possible so we may accommodate your request.

Do I need to be an athlete to get a sports massage?

No. You don’t need to be an athlete to benefit from a sports massage. Sports massage can be helpful for anyone dealing with muscle tightness, soreness, limited mobility, or overworked muscles from exercise, work, hobbies, or everyday activity.

At Las Vegas Sports Massage, each session is customized to your needs, whether you’re a competitive athlete, weekend warrior, gym-goer, golfer, pickleball player, or simply someone who wants to move and feel better.

Would you happen to offer any discounts?

Absolutely! Las Vegas Sports Massage offers several appreciation discounts for members of our local community, including:

  • Military members, Veterans and first responders: 10% off eligible massage services

  • Educators and school staff: 10% off a 60-minute massage during the school year

Valid professional or employee identification is required. Offers may have specific eligibility requirements and cannot be combined with other promotions, discounts, or membership pricing.

Can I get a massage if I’m sick?

Massage is not recommended if you have a severe cold or the flu. We also ask that you let your therapist know about any recent injuries before the start of the session.

Do I have to take all my clothes off?

We suggest undressing to your level of comfort. You will be properly draped at all times with a top and bottom sheet. Only the section being worked on will be uncovered.

Do you massage minors?

Our therapists can perform sports massage on minors with our minor waiver. Parents are welcome to sit in the room for the session.

Should I tip my therapist?

Tips are always appreciated but never expected
